Your information, handled thoughtfully
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit nycspeech.com, make an offer for the domain or contact us about it.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal information collected through this website is:
eLand, LdaRua Carlos Charbel, 39A, Loja, Cacem, Portugal
For privacy questions or requests, use the contact details in our Terms & Conditions. You do not need to make an offer to exercise your rights.
2. Information we process
The offer form requires your name, email address and offer in US dollars. Your company or website, intended use and message are optional. We also record a submission reference, the time of submission and the versions of the legal texts you acknowledged.
You choose whether to contact us. The required fields are necessary to identify, assess and reply to a proposal made through the form. If you do not provide them, we cannot process that submission. You can use the contact address for other enquiries.
Our hosting service processes technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. We do not create visitor accounts, use advertising profiles or add enquiries to a marketing list. Please do not include medical information, payment details or identity documents in your message.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Discussing a possible acquisition: we use your enquiry and contact details to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you act for a company or make a general enquiry, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering relevant business communications (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Security and records: we rely on our legitimate interests in preventing abuse, keeping an accurate record of negotiations and establishing or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligations: where a law requires us to keep or disclose information, we process it to meet that obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
The form’s acknowledgement records that you have read the Privacy Policy and accepted the Terms & Conditions. It is not consent to marketing or optional cookies.
Automatic checks validate entries and reject invalid submissions. They do not accept a sale or create a contract. We do not use profiling or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. You may contact us directly if you need help with a submission.
4. Who receives information
Access is limited to people authorised to handle enquiries and maintain the services. Netlify provides website hosting and processes requests to the offer form. Accepted proposals are sent through our email server to our designated mailbox; the website does not maintain a separate database of proposals.
Hosting, email and infrastructure providers may process information to operate these services. We may share relevant records with professional advisers when needed for a transaction or legal claim, or with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information or publish your proposal.
Netlify operates internationally, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Agreement sets out its processing and transfer safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. When information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards are required. Contact us to request information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
5. How long information is kept
We keep enquiries while assessing a proposal, during any resulting negotiations and for necessary follow-up. Once that purpose ends, information is deleted unless a limited record is needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. In those cases, retention is determined by the applicable legal period and the resolution of the matter.
If a sale is agreed, relevant transaction records are retained for the duration of the agreement and any applicable statutory retention period. Technical records are retained only as needed to operate and secure the service or investigate an incident. Backup copies are removed through the applicable backup replacement cycle and are not used for routine enquiries.
The website does not save form contents in browser storage. The necessary preference described below lasts for the current tab’s session.
6. Your rights
Depending on the legal conditions, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation.
Send requests through our contact section. We may ask for information proportionate to verifying your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we will explain why within that period. Requests are normally free of charge.
You may complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) in Portugal or another competent supervisory authority, including in the EU country where you live or work.
8. Policy updates
The date above identifies this version. If the legal texts change while you are completing the form, you will be asked to read and acknowledge the updated versions before submitting.
